Hey this is Andrea again! I thought I'd post something on how I feel about this election. OK so I am not 18 and i can't vote, but if I could I would vote for McCain. I like his views and also I like Sarah Palin. I believe they would make a great team. Even though they are republican, like President Bush, I still feel like no matter who we choose at this election there still will be change. I know change change change thats what we keep hearing. But I think McCain will be more than just talk, he'll get the job done. Also you may just say he's an old guy he won't know anything about how poeple feel and think these days, thats what Palins for. She is grounded and knows what everyday people want. With politics poeple will always have alot to say and different opinions but I thought I'd share you a little bit of mine. Hope you vote McCain Palin 08'!

Where is the effect without the cause?

Every blog should have a cause. I actually did a critical review essay over a blog, Gizmodo.com, which is most likely the best technology targeted blog out there, and one of the elements that I had to critique was the content structure. Of course, theirs is technology, as it is obviously unmistaken you've ever visited the site, and while my new blog is obviously about Poverty and causes, I thought I should take the initiative in adopting an outside source.
The Stand Up, Speak Out Against Poverty and Equality campaign is essentially what this blog is about, which you will realize soon enough if you decide to become a regular reader. If you want to know more about this campaign, you can read more into it here: http://www.standagainstpoverty.org/
and I've also have decided to support End Poverty 2015 Campaign. For more info, visit: http://www.endpoverty2015.org/
Also, If you havn't noticed i've added the logo's of the two campaigns to the Unoblivious logo at the top of the page. (The blog needed more color anyways)
So there you have it! I'm sure I'll post another entry later on tonight. so check back!
The frontline of Poverty.

To me, life is easy. To others, not so much. Like my "about me" section says to the left of this page, I went to Haiti this past summer and finally realized that what I am so used to, others are dying for. Litterally, dying for. This picture to the right is me in Haiti with my little girls I took care of for 10 days in July. I went from July 5th through the 15th. It's an experience that I would never take back.
Comming home, I was most frequently asked the same question: "What do you think now about the US?" and my answer was the same. "Well, to be honest with you, I am angry, and I feel rather selfish." But putting more thought into the question, I thought to myself... "God has given me all of these amazing things in my life.. why should I ever feel angry about what God has provided me with?".. well, the answer to that was that no, I shouldn't ne angry. So I started answering it this way: "Well, I'm more appreciative. Not only do I appreciate what God has given me in my life, But now I appreciate the life that the less fortunate go through every day."
..and that appreciation will be with me for the rest of my life.
The group that I went with last year has decided not to go on a Mission this summer, so I am currently looking for a group to travel with. AIM(Adventures in Missions) called me yesterday about going to Kenya for a month this summer, but it's close to $4,000. I'm not sure what to do, but what I am sure of, is that if I am meant to go, God will let it happen.
Logo? We got a Shm'logo over here!
Yeah, that's right! The logo is officially uploaded. Look, and drool. The blog will begin to look appealing, as well as BE appealing to read. I'm very excited, and I hope you are, too. I have a friend, Andrea, who is also an internet-savvy individual, and I hope to be sharing the blog with her, soon. So there will be two editors. Cool? Yes!
Unoblivious? What the?
Unoblivious simply means to be informed. To be oblivious is to be clueless about something. The purpose of my blog is to inform about poverty, and things such as the religous war (I refuse to believe that the wars thoughout the world with the Jihad and other muslim organizations seperate battles), and such.
I can be a little ADD, so if I'm excited about an upcoming, let's say, cell phone, video game, etc, I might blog on that too. This blog is just pretty much a way to share my thoughts on various things. I believe that everybody has an opinion, and I hope that I get some readers who are outspoken so we can discuss key issues!
Hope to make my first meaningful blog post tomorrow or the next day!

This is me, and what my Blog is about.
I'm Taylor, and I've always blogged. I'm an active myspace blogger, but I'm looking to move on up on the writing scale, and publicity. I have things you all should know, and I have ideas I think should be discussed. I'm a mission minded Christian man, and I'm here to write about how I feel, and when I feel it. This blog is nessesary for me to create, and I hope it's nessesary for you to come back.
