National Organization to send empty envelopes to Barack Obama

Red Envelope Day, an event organized by Pro-Life activists, have set out to make a point by sending millions of red envelopes to President Barack Obama at the White House on March 31st, 2009. Their goal? To send individual envelopes, each to represent an aborted child to the President with this message:

This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion.
It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part of our world.

Unoblivious is an unbiased blog, and if anyone would like to help aide the event, the organization says that you can buy the envelopes easily at Kinkos, or at any party planning store near you. Just send your envelopes to:

President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington , D.C. 20500

Their mission statement is "Together we can change the heart of The President and save the lives of millions of children."
Now that's activism. You have a cause, you stand by it, and you do something about it.

Version 2.0 update. 2/21/2009

That's right. I updated the visual of the blog. I wanted to change it up a bit, make it a little more professional but yet still simplistic. I'm getting back into Unoblivious, and this time full force! I'll have Andrea get back in on posting, and I will post as much as I can. Sometimes maybe twice a week, and other times I may even post twice a day, you just never know. I'm still in my senior year, and it's still going to be hectic, but I'm going to give it my best shot to get this ball rolling.

Show your support by commenting, or sending a message my way. Everybody needs support :)

Senioritus and Perseverance

No, My blog hasn't ended. But something has started: My senior year of High School. It's crazy, and hectic, but I'm definitely still with Unoblivious. It's been very busy for me in the "real world" working to manage all of my college stuff, and school work.
Just figured I would post this update, expect a post soon. :)
